Direct Vent Fireplaces

A high efficiency direct vent fireplace is a great way to add warmth to your home. Fresh air from the exterior of you home is pulled in through a flue and burned in the combustion chamber.
The byproducts of the combustion exit to the outside and are isolated from the home. Direct vent fireplaces can be vented horizontally to an outside wall or vented vertically through the roof. This will minimize heat loss through the chimney; giving an average of 70% efficiency through dry convection and radiant heat.
Direct vent fireplace systems will not spill or back draft byproducts of combustion into your home. They are even approved for bedrooms and baths.
